I have not been able to update my Vista. Each time I allow an update to install on my system, my Media Center Edition 2005 won't work anymore. I get various error messages such as I no longer have a TV tuner, etc. Is there anything I can do to stop Vista updates from screwing around with my Media Center?

I can listen to music with no problems through WMP/Media Center. I installed a trial version of Intervideo's WINDVD and it played the DVD just fine. Almost seems like I need to install codecs, BUT... Supposedly Vista Ultimate has everything I need to watch DVDs. No need to install Codecs.
